Baby Blanket

I wanted to work on my crochet skills, so when my friend had a sweet baby boy I decided to make him a blanket.  The colors of his nursery was the inspiration.  I used the half double crochet stitch, and just made until I thought it was a good size.  For the border I did two rounds of single crochet.  I wish that I had changed the order on the border but you live and learn.  And now I have a request from another friend for a blanket for their bundle of joy.  Thanks for stopping by!
